Sierra Pacific’s Summer Reading Challenge

Sometimes the best summer vacation can be found with the turn of a page. That’s why Sierra Pacific is holding a Summer Reading Challenge. Kids 3-18 are encouraged to read books tailored to financial literacy for the chance to win some fantastic kid-friendly prizes!

Get your favorite reading nook ready because from June 1st – July 31st you’ll be reading to earn one raffle ticket for each book read, plus bonus entries for 5, 10, 15, and 20 books. That’s not all! Kids will also earn a free Money Monsters Book, bookmark, and sticker just for signing up.*

*Limit one entry per person. Must be 3 to 18 years old to enter. Completed reading logs must be received between 06/01/2023 and 07/31/2023 to be entered. Sixteen (16) winners will be selected in a random drawing held by the credit union on or about 08/15/2023. Prize values vary. Members under the age of 18 may earn $5.00 for every “A/A+” grade on a report card (including O/O+, S/S+), $2.00 for every “B/B+” grade on a report card and $1.00 for every “C/ C+” grade on a report card. Report card rewards can only be redeemed in person at a branch during normal business hours. Report cards will be accepted for the most recent grading period only; maximum $25 earned. Progress reports are not eligible. The credit union will accept report cards issued by public or private schools. Home-schooled students must present a copy of their report card submitted to a Board of Education. Rewards will be deposited into the youth member’s checking or savings account.
