COVID-19 Update: Saint Mary’s Branch Closure
Maintaining the health and security of both our members and staff is vitally important to us at Sierra Pacific. We are taking steps to limit exposure, improve non-branch access to our services, and keep your accounts and information secure during this crisis.
Saint Mary’s Branch Closure
We are closing the Saint Mary’s Branch for 30 days, effective Monday, March 23rd.
The small lobby size and hospital location of this branch make it difficult to maintain recommended social distancing standards and put our staff and members at risk. We encourage all members to use digital alternatives for their banking needs. Claudia, our Saint Mary’s representative, is relocating to the Mill Street branch for this period and can be reached at 775.857.2424, at [email protected], or, if necessary, by visiting the branch at 5580 Mill Street.
Limit Branch Visits
While our remaining branches are open normally at this time, we strongly encourage members to use non-branch alternatives for their banking needs. Most routine banking tasks can be done online. See below for details.
We are requiring appointments for loan signings and new account openings that must be done in branch. Your loan officer will set this up with you if necessary.
If you or a member of your household are experiencing symptoms of illness, please do not visit a branch. Use digital options for most services or call the branch with more complex questions. We appreciate your help keeping our staff and members healthy during this time.
We encourage all members to use non-branch alternatives whenever possible to perform banking tasks. Most of our digital services are always free for members, and we are waiving fees on most other services for 30 days. Click on any of the items below to enroll, explore, or access the service.

View account balances, transfer money, make loan payments from your Sierra accounts, access Remote Deposit Capture, Bill Pay, and Loan applications, view account history, e-statements, and check images.
Deposit checks from home by enrolling in this feature of Mobile Banking.
Pay, manage, and schedule all of your utility, subscription, credit card, and loan payments from one secure location. Access this feature within your online or mobile banking after enrolling.
Apply for loans and credit cards within your online or mobile banking app, or on our website.
Add your Sierra Pacific debit and credit cards to your device’s digital wallet to make online purchases a breeze.
We offer members nearly 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide. You can find one near you here.
Temporarily Waived Fees
If you need to make a loan payment or fund your Sierra Pacific deposit accounts from another institution, you can do so online here. Fees are waived for 30 days.
Over-the-Phone Loan Payments and Account Funding
Pay your loan or fund Sierra accounts from another institution over the phone. Fees are waived for 30 days.
You can send or receive money from or to your Sierra accounts with a wire transfer. We are waiving fees for this service for 30 days.
Out of Network ATM Fees
Sierra Pacific has a wide network of surcharge-free ATMs, which you can find here. If you must use an out-of-network ATM, we will reimburse those fees temporarily when you provide a receipt for the transaction.
Financial Hardship Assistance
We know some members are navigating financial difficulty as a result of illness or business closures during this crisis. We’re always here to help during difficult times. Here’s how we can help those who need it:
We’re offering a one-time skip-a-pay for those who need it. You can submit a request online here, and we will give you a call to follow-up.
For those who need to low monthly costs, transferring your high-rate credit card balances could help. We offer a 6-months at 1% APR* on all balances transferred to a Sierra Pacific credit card. You can apply for a new card online, or give us a call to transfer to an existing card.
